5月14日（水）の1時間目、本校では中学・高校合同で「聖ラ・サールの日の集い」を実施しました。
この日は、30年・20年の勤続を迎えた4名の教職員に対し、聖ラ・サールの保護のもと、勤続表彰が行われました。 その後、学園長講話では、ラ・サール会東アジア管区（LEAD: Lasallian East Asia District）とのつながりについて触れ、LEAD宣教評議委員を務める教員と、日本地区宣教議員である教頭から、それぞれの視点からのメッセージがありました。 国や地域は異なっても、共通する「ラ・サール精神」のもと、生徒・教職員が「ラ・サーリアンとして生きる」ことを共に目指す使命、そして

「どのようにラ・サーリアンとしての福音の価値を子どもたちに伝えていくか」

「ラ・サールの教育を次世代へどのように継承していくか」
という問いかけを共有しました。

なお、1950年5月15日、教皇ピオ12世によって聖ラ・サールは「世界の教育者の保護者」として認定されました。それ以来、世界約80か国にあるラ・サール会やラ・サールの学校では、この日を「聖ラ・サールの日」として祝っています。
🕊 Feast Day for St. La Salle – Gathering at Hakodate La Salle
On Wednesday, May 14, Hakodate La Salle held a joint middle and high school gathering to celebrate the Feast Day of St. La Salle during the first period.
During this event, four faculty and staff members who have served for 30 and 20 years respectively were honored and recognized for their dedication, under the protection and inspiration of St. La Salle.
Following the award ceremony, the school president gave a keynote talk highlighting our connection to the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD). Two speakers—a teacher who serves as a LEAD Mission Council Member and our Vice Principal, who represents Japan as a Lasallian Mission Councilor—shared their reflections.
Despite differences in country or language, Lasallians around the world are united by a common spirit. The gathering invited all students and staff to live as Lasallians and to consider:

St. La Salle was officially proclaimed “Patron of All Teachers” by Pope Pius XII on May 15, 1950. Since then, Lasallian schools in over 80 countries around the world have celebrated this day as the Feast Day of St. La Salle.
