Dear Lasallian Friends from St. Patrick’s School,

As your memorable visit to Hakodate comes to a close, we would like to thank you for the friendships, laughter, and meaningful exchange we’ve shared over these few days. Though we may come from different lands, we are united as one Lasallian family — and it is in that spirit that we send you off with these words that resonate in every Lasallian heart around the world:

To Our Lasallian Brothers and Sisters: We Are Lasallian

We come from different countries and cultures, yet we are united as one Lasallian family.
Regardless of race or religion, we share the same mission, the same dreams, and look to the same bright star.

Our Founder, Saint John Baptist de La Salle, gave up a life of privilege to serve children—especially the last, the lost, and the least. His spirit continues to guide Lasallians around the world today.

“I am, you are, we are Lasallian.”
With faith as our foundation and service in our hearts, we support one another as a global community—young and old, near and far.

Though we may be in different places, we remain united.
We follow the same star, dream the same dream, and we believe we will meet again.

皆さんの函館への素晴らしい訪問が終わりを迎えるにあたり、この数日間で分かち合った友情、笑顔、そして意義ある交流に心より感謝申し上げます。

私たちは異なる土地からやって来ましたが、一つのラ・サールファミリーとして結ばれています。

その思いを込めて、ラ・サールの心に響くこの言葉をお送りします。

私たちは国も文化も異なりますが、ラ・サールという一つの家族としてつながっています。

人種や宗教に関係なく、同じ使命、同じ夢を共有し、同じ明るい星を見上げています。

創立者である聖ヨハネ・バプティスト・デ・ラ・サールは、恵まれた生活を捨て、特に「最も後にされ、迷い、貧しい」子どもたちに尽くしました。
