The weekly mass has resumed at school.
Every Tuesday at 7PM mass is held in the school chapel for students and local parishioners.
Mass is conducted by Father Philip, resident priest of the Yunokawa Church.
Even though only baptized members in the state of grace are permitted to receive Christ in the Eucharist, all students are welcome to participate in the mass.
Last Tuesday had a nice turnout and many students attended.
We hope that by joining in mass the students will have another opportunity to feel a strong sense of community and make new friends at La Salle.
We also hope that the students will become better able to understand the main teaching of Jesus: “to love and help thy neighbor.”
本校では毎週定例ミサを開催しています。
毎週午後7時に本校聖堂に、生徒のみならず近隣の教区からお越しの方々もいらっしゃいます。
カトリック湯川教会よりフィリップ神父にお越しいただき、祈りを捧げています。
ミサに参加している生徒たちのなかに信者はほとんどいませんが、ラ・サールではすべての生徒たちに開かれた場となっています。
先週の火曜日は大勢の人でにぎわい、多くの生徒が参加しました。
ミサへの参加を通じ、生徒たちがコミュニティの一員であることをしっかりと感じ、ラ・サール学園で友人関係の輪を広げていく機会となることを願っています。
また、イエス・キリストの「あなたの隣人を愛せよ」という教えを、より深く理解できるようになることを願っています。
