High School English Presentation Contest
On Saturday, June 28th, five members of the English Club participated in the 12th South Hokkaido Senior High School Cultural Association English Presentation Contest at Hakuryo High School. The members included senior high school 3rd year Yoshito Watanabe, 2nd year Shuma Takagi, and 1st years Toshiya Hata, Junzo Umeda, and Shinzo Umeda.
The team presented their project called "Kids Bridge" which proposed a bilingual event to promote digital literacy and intercultural exchange. The team had a good plan that addresses issues such as the declining population, illiteracy, and mutual cultural understanding.
The team was able to win 1st place in the competition. Congratulations Team La Salle!
6月28日土曜日、函館大学付属柏稜高等学校で開催された第12回道南高等学校英語プレゼンテーション大会に、英語部から5名が出場しました。高3の渡部馨仁 君、高2の髙木秀真 君、高１の畑俊哉君、梅田順三君、梅田新三君です。
同チームは「Kids Bridge」と名付けたプロジェクトを発表し、デジタルリテラシーと異文化交流を促進するためのバイリンガルイベントを提案しました。人口減少、非識字、相互文化理解といった課題に取り組むなどの問題を解決する優れた計画です。
チームは大会で見事1位を獲得することができました。おめでとう、チーム・ラ・サール！
