Two teams from Hakodate La Salle competed in the “Hakodate High School English Presentation Tournament” held at Hakodate Commercial High School.
The first team’s presentation was called “Close the Mind-Gap”.
They talked about gender equality in Japan, and their idea to close the gender gap.
The second team’s presentation was called “Minorities Matter”.
They talked about the problems faced by non-Japanese residents living in Hakodate, and what we can do to help them.
Both teams did excellent jobs with their presentations.
The team presenting “Close the Mind-Gap” won 3rd place in the competition!
We are very proud of both teams for working so hard doing a good job.
函館高等学校英語プレゼンテーション大会
6月19日(土)、函館商業高校において開催された函館高等学校英語プレゼンテーション大会に、本校の英語研究会から2チームが出場しました。
第1チームは"Close the Mind-Gap"と題するプレゼンテーションを行いました。
日本におけるジェンダーの平等を論じ，ジェンダー・ギャップを埋めていく考えを述べました。
また、第2チームは"Minorities Matter"と題してプレゼンテーションを行いました。
こちらは函館在住の外国人が直面している問題を取り上げ，このような方々に対し私たちがどのように支援していけるかを述べました。
このコンテストで，第1チームは3位の栄誉に輝きました。
どちらのチームのプレゼンテーションも大変すばらしく、誇らしい成果を上げることができました。
そして、準備のために一生懸命に取り組み続けてきたことをとても誇らしく思います。
