5月20日(木)中学１年生のLHRにおいて、６月１日に予定されている遠足についての学年集会がおこなわれました。コロナ禍での実施となるため、さまざまな注意事項や遠足という行事を通して集団行動を意識させる指導がおこなわれました。生徒たちはしっかりと説明を聞き、質疑応答の際にも積極的に質問していました。
また、後半には、入学し約１ヶ月半が経過した生徒たちに、この１年間で取り組んでほしいことについて、改めて学年主任より説明がありました。学習習慣と生活習慣の確立、好ましい生活態度や友人関係の構築など、基本的なことですが改めて生徒に注意喚起し、よりよい学校生活を送るための土台作りや、将来のために勉強することの大切さを伝えました。今週、入学して初めての定期試験を終え、答案も返却され始めました。生徒たちはそれぞれ学習についての課題が見えてきたと思います。そんな中でおこなわれた学年集会において、生徒たちは真剣に聞き、しっかりと取り組んでいく決意を新たにしているようでした。
The junior high school first-year students attended an assembly which was held on Thursday, May 20th during the long-homeroom period to talk about the excursion scheduled for June 1st. Since we are still anxious about the Corona Virus, various precautions and instructions were given so the students could understand how to be safe. The students listened closely and actively asked questions during the Q&A session.
Also, in the second half of the assembly, the grade’s head-teacher talked about the progress they have made in the month-and-a-half since school started. They talked about basic goals, such as establishing learning habits, lifestyles and attitudes, and building friendships in order to lay a foundation for a better school life. They were also reminded of the importance of studying for the future. After finishing their first exam this week and receiving their scores, each student is beginning to realize new challenges. With this understanding, it seemed that the students were able to listen carefully to the advice given during the assembly, and it gain motivation to work hard.
