今年度の中１学年のフィールドワークは、普段生活する函館市への理解を深めるために、10月7日と8日の2日間にわたり函館市の各所を巡りました。
前日の6日には、今年度から導入されたChromebookを使用し、準備を進めました。

フィールドワーク初日の各クラスの行程は

• １組　トラピスチヌ修道院→函館市北洋資料館→五稜郭公園・五稜郭タワー→摩周丸→厳島神社
• ２組　厳島神社→摩周丸→五稜郭公園・五稜郭タワー→函館市北洋資料館→トラピスチヌ修道院
• ３組　立待岬→函館山→八幡坂・基坂→元町公園→旧函館区公会堂→旧イギリス領事館→函館市北方民俗資料館

でした。
ガイドの方の丁寧な説明を一生懸命聞き、たくさんの質問をしていました。
また、どの場所でも皆、時間が足りないと、名残惜しい様子でもありました。

JHS 1st Year Field Trip – Day 1

This year, the JHS 1st year students went on a field trip for 2 days on October 7th and 8th to visit famous places in Hakodate to deepen their understanding of the city.
On the 6th, they used their new Chromebooks to plan and prepare.

There were 3 groups which had different tours.

• Group 1 Tour:  Trappistine Monastery → Hakodate City Hokuyo Museum → Goryokaku Park / Goryokaku Tower → Seikan Ferry Memorial Ship → Itsukushima Shrine
• Group 2 Tour: Itsukushima Shrine → Seikan Ferry Memorial Ship → Goryokaku Park / Goryokaku Tower → Hakodate City Hokuyo Museum → Trappistine Monastery
• Group 3 Tour: Cape Tachimachi → Mt. Hakodate → Hachimanzaka Slope / Motoizaka Slope → Motomachi Park → Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward → Former British Consulate → Hakodate City Museum of Northern Peoples.

They respectfully listened to the explanations given by the guides and asked a lot of questions.
It seemed that everyone wished they had some more time.
